Hello from Thometz Photography!

We are Chris and Barb Thometz and we have been taking family, senior and studio headshots in Boise for over 13 years. Chris is a native of Boise and Barb moved here in 2004. We were both working actors in Chicago in the 1990's (Defiant Theatre!) and moved back to Boise to raise our two children, Hank and Ruby. You can still catch us, once and a while if you look closely, on a local tv commercial or local radio here in Boise.

No matter what Chris has done in his life, he always did it with a camera close by. He had a darkroom in his family home basement in his teens and has always pursued photography alongside everything he's done in his life. It was natural then, after moving back to Boise, that one of the things Barb and Chris did was start a boutique portrait and family photography business. They are fun and great team. While Chris sets a shot up, Barb sets you up to look your best and be as comfortable as possible. There is always lots of laughter and fun on a Thometz Photography shoot. We can't wait to see you on one soon!
